I really missed you and me pigging out on the veggies. It will be a new year hopefully one that goes alot better for our family. I love you so much Uncle Bruce and it is so hard not having you here! I hope you and grandpa had a merry christmas. Love ya Boo Boo! ~Valerie~ |

Hey Uncle Bruce~It is Christmas in a few days. The holiday season is not the same without your bright cheerful smile. I really wish that you could be here now. I love you!

Hey Uncle Bruce~Sorry I haven't visited in a while. The internet wasn't hooked up for a while. I hope you got the Pasatelli that I brought to your grave. I was kinda stingy but I didn't realize how little it was. I hope you enjoyed it. I really miss you. I love you so much! Tell everyone up there that I love them too. ~Valerie~ |

Hey Uncle Bruce~ Its just me visiting. I'm trying to finish the dollhouse you started a while ago. I had to make it a different color yellow because it wouldn't be a match to the one you started to paint it with. I really wish you were here to help me with it. It seems to take me forever to do very little details to the house. It will probably take me a few months to finish it, including the interior. I want to make it look really nice, like you would have if you finished it. I love you so much! xoxoxoxoxo ~Valerie |

On another note, today marks a year since Bob McKernan (Kirsten's father & my father) passed away... Since my family has a fairly dark sense of humor, I would joke that it wasn't his illness that "did him in"...it was the Red Sox' Grady Little leaving Pedro Martinez on the pitcher's mound too long in Game 7 of the ALCS against the Yankees... Who could have guessed that a mere year later, the "Curse of the Bambino" would be broken, and the Red Sox would have their first World Championship since 1918???? I'm sorry that my dad wasn't here to see it... I went to the parade in Boston, though...probably as much for my dad as for myself... Rest in Peace, Dad -- unless, of course, your son-in-law Bruce is making it difficult!!! :-) :-) :-) |

Hey Uncle Bruce~ I just came to say hello. It has only been a few months that you have been gone, yet it seems like an eternity. Everyone misses you so much.
It is so odd not seeing you at the dining room table at family gatherings. It is also very strange not seeing Auntie Kirsten with you at her side. I really wish you were here. I love you! ~Valerie~ |
